After graduating from Haralson County High School, I attended the University of West Georgia and received a Bachelor of Arts in English.
I returned to Haralson County to teach Ninth Grade Literature and Composition and Ninth Grade Honors English. During the 2009-2010 school year, I will be teaching Tenth Grade World Literature as well.
My other interests are pretty diverse. I enjoy art, photography, music, and movies; my hobbies include reading, building web pages, and spending time with my wife.
I am fortunate to live reasonably close to the Silver Comet Trail, which extends more than 61 miles from Smyrna to the Alabama/Georgia state line. My wife and I spend a lot of time walking and bicycling on the trail. Our goal is to accumulate 400 miles of trail time by the end of 2009.
